 I recently had the pleasure of recording Nate Jackson and his project Devil Season. I started out as a producer/engineer, but upon hearing the music, I couldn't resist laying down some drum tracks.  Sif's Golden Hair
14 inch drum head, painted with oils, and gold leaf, then inked in details of hair. Its hard to tell from the picture but the hair really shines from the gold leaf. Sif was Thor's wife, in Norse mythology. In the story, Loki sneaks in while Sif sleeps and cuts off her golden hair. He is then forced by Thor under penalty of being smashed by the Mjolnir, to go to the gnomes and have them forge her new hair, that of real gold. Purchase this piece HERE. A few weeks ago I posted some sample drum library loops free to download and use however you like. Here is an awesome song Nahum Garcia created with those loops. A great example of what can be done with loop libraries.
